Review: Much like ‘VR New York Story‘ before it, ‘VR New York Story, Settle in New York’ is an adventure game and language learner all in one with the idea being Chinese people can learn American style English in a natural, fun way. I should point out straight away that unless you can read Chinese this app is not for you as almost all the text is in that language. While the graphics are a little basic as with the interactions I can see this being a useful app for someone coming to New York from China, but having been to New-York myself I can promise you most of the locals are nowhere near as friendly as they are in this app making the topic of conversation started kind of pointless. But I did like the style of learning, so thumbs up for that. But at a mind-blowing £46.49 you would have to be a fool, or desperate to get it and at that price, there is simply no way I can recommend it unless it was a fraction of the current price.
