Presentation: While there wasn’t anything wrong with the packaging of the original Microsoft HoloLens the V2 has much more shine and polish with a sleek black box with an image of the headset on top. This headset is clearly designed for store sale because it has all the information you need right there on the side of the box. But opening-up reveals something even better which is a hard carry case to keep the headset in! But this case is not a spare one, it has everything inside of it meaning everything is as protected as it ever could be and to be honest it makes for a very exciting unboxing experience.

Review: Once again it is not so much about what this headset can do now, more about what developers will make it do in the future. While the wearing experience is better and the FOV a lot wider it still manages to feel like a prototype product. This is not something you will be wearing for a long time, nor is it something the everyday consumer will enjoy, but there will be developers and people out there that will love it. Again, the potential for this to be an awesome thing is not so much about the here and now, more about what the future generations of this headset will be like.
