Review: Putting it simply ‘RealFlight 9.5’ is an RC model simulator that even comes with an InterLink DX Simulator Controller. This is not a replacement for Microsoft Flight Simulator not is it a fun game. This is a VERY serious RC simulator designed for people to practice flying and playing around with settings without having to crash a toy worth thousands of pounds. The graphics are amazing and the controls and physics are 2nd to none. But if you own ‘RealFlight 9‘ or almost all of them before this one you will only notice a handful of new planes to fly. Please note, this is not a fun game, there are no challenges or missions here, it’s just a serious RC simulator and a bloody good one at that.

It is worth adding that the VR implementation is little more than a bolt-on, but it does give to that VR sense of depth that makes controlling the toys much easier and feel much more real. But it could have been so much better. While I would give the game a Gold award the VR side of things is not worth mentioning, hence the silver award.
