Description: Inspired by the traditional Buddhist technique of staring into candlelight in darkness, this app actively uses the power of virtual reality to achieve deeper levels of relaxation, awareness and focus. Inner Light is meant to be used as a tool, beyond simple relaxation. You’ll need to actively follow the technique, but you’ll be rewarded by stronger effect than just relaxation.

Review: ‘Inner Light’ is a relaxation app of sorts that gives you a flickering candle flame to enjoy, a mode with breathing rhythms attached to that said candle and a mode where an image will reveal itself to you in the candlelight. There is no guided meditation here, nothing to hold your interest and to be honest the flickering candle isn’t all that good either. It is the lack of content here that puts me off recommending it, but if it was ever to become free I would change my mind.
