Description: Reach out to grab the flight controls, flick a switch to open the cockpit door, sit back and feel the haptics rumble as you guide the stick to a smooth landing. Do it all while keeping your eyes peeled for the bogies who just flew by…or the Bush Plane landing in the distance, or that giant Mech which happened to appear on your runway.
Review: ‘SimplePlanes VR’ is a mission flight simulator of sorts that gives you a few different vehicles to perform a handful of missions. First of all, we need to talk about the graphics, because they are as basic as they come. But then again when you are in a plane in the sky you might not notice them. Well, that is provided you can even get into the sky because the controllers are so basic no matter how much I tried I couldn’t get used to them. To be fair to the game there are quite a few missions and things to do here provided you can get used to the controls, but just the fact that there is a buggy here for you to drive in the choice of vehicles when ALL the missions take place in the sky should tell you all you need to know about this…game. This is not something I will be recommending, but maybe someone with a lot more patients than me will enjoy it more.
