Description: You are an air traffic controller. Your duty is to manage the movement of drone planes, delivering cargo to one of the airports under your supervision. It was a usual, even boring, watch and nothing was foreshadowing problems, but suddenly you find out that the automatic air traffic management systems of your airport are out of order. The drone planes are capable of joining the circuit and automatically landing, but they cannot see each other! It is not yet clear what happened, but the most likely possibility is that the satellite array was hacked by an unknown evil separatist organization, trying to cut the communications and leave the city without supplies!

Review: ‘Air Traffic BLITZ VR’ is an airport time management style game in which you need to control endless amounts of planes all of which are arriving at some of the worlds busiest airports. It’s very much a basic version of Final Approach, only nowhere near as much fun and nowhere near as good looking (but the graphics are OK I suppose). The problem is the silly control method which starts in the start menu. Having to grip and then point is just silly and took me a while to figure out, why not just have a beam selector. But that is nothing compared to the main gameplay. You need to grip each plane, then draw a line to whenever you want and hopefully avoid a mid-air crash. Sometimes that line is fine and they follow along and land somewhere else, but sometimes they just crash and land in the same place. It just feels so uncontrollable and the planes that are going to crash are not pointed out, so you just have to guess which ones are in danger.

There is a good amount of potential here and £3.99 would be a good asking price if the controls could be sorted out. I think if I gave it more time I might get used to them, but I really should have to learn to play this game when Final Approach has showed me how easy they can be. Do give this a go with caution, but personally, I would give it some time to grow and develop a better control scheme.
