Description: VR horror rouge-like game where the player will need escape a purgatorial environment by completing a set of objectives and finding useful tools and equipment while avoiding and out-smarting hostile monsters and traps.
Review: ‘Unchosen: Forsaken’ is a pretty bog standard VR horror game. It’s too dark to see anything, you do get torches and candles that run out after a while, but the main goal is you have to find a key, use an elevator and escape. There are no puzzles here, just exploring and avoiding all the monsters who seem to stay in one place. As you explore you will also notice a lot of the rooms are empty, but at least there is a fair size to explore and get lost in. Most people should be able to finish this within the hour and it would be good for younger kids at a VR Halloween party. But we adults will find it hard to find the value for this, so I do wish it was a fraction of the current £7.19 asking price. I paid just £4.31 in a sale and I just about got my money’s worth.
