Review: ‘Maskmaker’ is a rather unique adventure game in which you take control of various people using a mask. But first, you have to make that mask! The crafting and painting of the mask is fun on its own, but there is a much larger game just waiting for you once you have made one. You see, you need to make masks and find the blueprint for other ones inside the game world that is made up of several different areas. You also have to find things to use to make those said masks and all the while you will be solving puzzles and exploring all the beautiful looking levels. While the game did take me just shy of 5 hours I have to admit that I was stuck on a few of the puzzles that took me a while to work out. On the whole, I can’t recommend this game enough. It’s original, it looks great, feels immersive and is worth every single penny of its current asking price.
