Review: In case you have never heard of this before I should explain that ‘ALTDEUS: Beyond Chronos’ is a visual novel based around Peter Graham’s Tokyo Chronos. This is not so much a game, more a fully interactive graphical novel with some great voice acting and animations. While it does lack interactions most of the time it is surprisingly immersive and I especially like the giant robot fights by pressing all the buttons in time, but I also missed being up close and part of the action at the same time. While it is way too short for its own good there are multiple ends for you to explore and some of them will take you a good while to discover. If you like graphical novels you will love this, but mainstream gamers might find it lacking in excitement.
