Review: ‘SPHERES’ is an interactive cinematic experience featuring all things space-related. You get to see the planets and a few other surprises that I won’t spoil here. What I do like is that you can use hand-tracking to get about. Personally, I felt this made it feel more immersive than with the motion controllers. I enjoy this sort of thing anyway so that does help, but I can see that some people will find the experience a little short-lived for £7.99. For me, it was the lack of educational elements that were missing the most but just enjoying the sights and sounds was still amazing and the narrator does have a nice voice. If you can grab this in a sale you will be happier with your purchase for sure, but do give it a go at some point as it is quite fascinating and one of those non-game things VR needs more of.
