Review: ‘AmIHero’ is a collection of mini-games that are all designed to turn you into some sort of super-hero. OK, so that is not going to happen, but the games are shooting (mostly target practice) squashing bugs (with your guns) boxing, Basketball and Baseball. While they all start out as “sports” based games they soon turn into chaos with giant robots to defeat and other challenges like colour specific goals. In total there are 8 game modes and while the graphics are not great, they are not terrible.
Sadly this collection of mini-games fails on the two most fundamental aspects of any game and that is gameplay and value for money. The controls are…well..they are crap at times and utterly frustrating at other times. So when the game costs a massive £15.49 there is simply no way to recommend it at the moment, but until it becomes a small fraction of that price. It this game was pennies you could have a laugh with it, but until then I would leave it well alone to play superheroes in the corner on its own.
