Review: ‘Warp Out’ reminds me very much of older VR games when developers didn’t really know what to do with motion controllers. In short, it sticks a spaceship on the end of your controller and you have to shoot the waves of enemy ships all the while avoiding their fire by moving your ship around. If this game was released just 5 years ago I would have probably recommended it, but this is 2021 and we expect a lot more from our games these days especially when it comes to the graphics.
I suppose there is nothing technically wrong with ‘Warp Out’, its fun to play at least, but its basic. I mean, very, very basic. It’s worth paying a quid or two for it, but nowhere near the current £15.99 asking price. So, for now, I won’t be recommending this, not until that price becomes a tiny fraction of what it currently is.
