Review: ‘Hajji VR’ is a virtual educational app and virtual tour of various parts of the Islamic rites and rituals in Mecca like the Great and small pilgrimages, There are 5 in total: Al Jamarat, Mecca, Masjid Nabawi, Al Raudhah & Masjid Quba. There are three languages to choose from if you speak French, English or Arabic you are well covered here. You get about via waypoint and slowly travel around each location. There are information points for some educational material and the buildings themselves are a little basic, but good enough that you would spot them in real-life if you visited them. While I can’t see this app every being worth £9.29 I do think it will be useful if used in the right educational setting, especially with a teacher guiding them with voice narration. But outside of that situation, I can’t see this virtual tour offering much value for money.
