Review: ‘Hyper Psychic Gauntlets’ is a wave shooter with a small difference. You no longer have to fight, shoot or sword-swipe the enemies, in this game you need to throw them, smash them into rocks or even into each other! For the first 5 minutes, this was a novelty and it was fun. But you soon realise there is only one playing environment and no variation in gameplay. To be fair the game looks OK, especially the particle effects flying all over the place when you smash a load of them together. But it never ever gets more exciting than those first few minutes of gameplay which for a game costing £6.19 is not good. You will be better off grabbing this in a bundle with other games then you will feel this stands out a little when you might have only paid pennies for it.
