Description: During the Warring States Period in Japan, the Tokugawa Shogunate levied heavily and aggressively. So a young Ronin fled Kyoto and came to North China. He studied archery and samurai swords in China and Korea. He then set off from the Chinese city at the foot of the Great Wall, travelled through Korean kingdoms, Shikoku Island, and finally returned to Japan to kill corrupt shogunates and to become a samurai with knighthood who took from the rich and helped the poor.

Review: I have to be honest with you, I am finding it almost impossible to find nice things to say about ‘Rise of the samurai in VR’. Its a sword-wielding action game in which you have to take down the military government of Japan during the Edo period. But there is no real action here, all you have to do is lightly “poke” them with your sword and they fall down. Job done, move on and next. I can look past the bad graphics and even the crazy asking price, but it needs to have at least some element of challenge when it comes to gameplay and this has none. Fair play to this game, it might well be the worst Hack and Slash game I have ever had the misfortune of playing.
