Description: Play the famous classic arcade Breakout Out now in Virtual Reality. The VR version of an all-time classic brings you hours of fun and explosive gameplay in a unique atmosphere. You are inside the space ship and can only move your ship left and right with your triggers. Aim and destroy all the bricks to get to the next level.
Review: I’m all for giving indie developers a bit of a chance, but ‘Breakout VR’ is going to get it both barrels. This utter shit-pit of a game is wrong in so many directions that I really don’t know where to start! I can only presume it wasn’t tested otherwise the developer might have worked out the sideways movement (the worst movement there is for causing VR nausea) is a bad idea, as is the flat game level meaning you can’t see anything, with everything else being terrible and then asking a bonkers £6.19 for it! It’s not worth anything and it is clear to me very little thought and indeed effort has gone into making this. Save your money from what might well be the worst game you can play in VR. Rant over – mic drop.
