Review: As long as you take the sale price (£2.99) I paid for ‘Lone Archer’ and the fact that it is just an indie game I think it has a lot to offer. There are 4 main battle environments and quite a few enemies to shoot at with your bow and arrow. Sure, the game looks basic and the bow mechanics are simple at best, but it does what it needs to do and you can learn with live with the gameplay flaws. Yes it is repetitive and yes it does need a lot more spit and polish, but I’m happy to recommend this. Just try and grab it in a sale like I did and you should appreciate what you get for the small price you pay.
