Description: Hit the shuriken, break the bricks, get ultra instinct and become… The ShinobiBreaker. Adapted to Virtual Reality! In this game, immersed in a geometrical cosmic atmosphere, accept the quest as a space ninja and defeat monsters that bring harms to the universe.
Review: Shinobi Breaker is a mix of classic brick-breaker style gameplay only you will be using a sword to mostly slice back shooting ninja stars hence the “shinobi” part of its title. While I kind of like the style the game was going for it simply doesn’t work in practice. The controls don’t feel on point and you often seem to miss the stars shooting towards you even if you seem to hit them multiple times. The retro-style graphics go well with the game they really do and there is a good amount of potential here for sure. But when it costs £11.39 there is simply no way I can recommend it at that price. If you see this game in a sale for a mere fraction of that maybe give it a go, but I wouldn’t pay much more than a few quid for this at most.
