Review: I suppose it was only inevitable that someone would see the success of the Pistol Whip series and try and replicate it. That is where ‘Shot of Rhythm’ comes into it and yes that is exactly what this game is, an unashamedly simple clone of Pistol Whip. But like all those Beat Saber clones it misses the point of the game and turns out to be a basic looking, unplayable mess of a game. It doesn’t get the action linked with the beat-mapping and the colours of the game make it almost impossible to see the bullets heading towards you. While £3.99 is not a lot of money it is better off being spent on something else.
