Description: Fulfill the ultimate fantasy: going outside and petting a dog. In You Can Pet The Dog VR, players can pet and play with an adorable dog in a beautiful environment inspired by the upcoming game DOGGONE.
Review: ‘You Can Pet The Dog VR’ is a very simple virtual-pet style game of the likes we have seen quite a few times before, only this one is very much bare bones. You get a bone or a frisbee to throw for the dog, you can pet it and enjoy its company, but there is no variety in the types of dogs you can have, only a colour filter to make the same environment look different and there are far better games out there like Stunt Corgi VR. There are things to like about this experience as it is so simple to play even very young ones should have fun playing it. But it’s definitely not worth the £3.99 asking price and probably should be free or very close to it. If you like this sort of thing maybe you will enjoy it more than I did, sadly I wasn’t a fan at all, but I am willing to admit that I never really am of this genre of experience.
