Review: I really enjoy a good mech robot game, from choosing my load-outs to getting into the mech itself and facing the action head-on. Sadly ‘Combat Mech VR’ isn’t one of those games despite the title. This is a low-poly action game in which you control a tiny mech robot that is stuck on the end of your hand. Sure, you do get to pick a load-out, but when it comes to action, gameplay or strategy there is none. Even taking the small £0.79 price tag into account there still isn’t enough here for me to recommend this if it was free (which of course it isn’t). It might not be a lot of money to pay, but you would be better off getting a small chocolate bar instead.
