Review: ‘Gateball VR’ is a VR version of a game we call “croquet” here in the UK (a game usually played by posh people). The idea of that game is a bit like golf only with a mallet and you whack the ball through a small hoop on the floor (or as they call it, a gate). There are 2 areas to play in with both day and night which does mix things up a bit at least and you can play on your own or with 5 bots all of which will kick your arse every time. It looks OK with some nice scenery I suppose but I can’t recommend it for the current £7.19 asking price. I mean, it feels OK to play and the physics seem good but the lack of multiplayer and courses means you should wait for it in a sale if it is something you are interested in. Personally, I found it a little boring, but that is just my personal opinion.
