Description: The goal of the Brick Breaker VR is to bring the old brick breaker, breakout experiences to life in virtual reality. In this VR version, you are controlling the paddle with your hands, so everything comes down to your skill. The levels are similar to the old breakout games, you need to destroy all the bricks to finish a level. But be aware, some bricks cannot be destroyed. A childish, playful music will ride alongside you throughout the whole journey.
Review: I’m a retro game lover. I like playing classic 8bit style games with low-budget graphics only with a VR twist, especially if the 3D is good. ‘Brick Breaker VR’ for me sticks too much to the classic Atari game. Sure, the main playing arena is in 3D, but the gameplay is flat, 2D as such other than a line with a pencil on the end of it. There has been no thought put into this whatsoever. Then to charge £5.19 for this is just a joke. Unless this becomes free I simply can’t recommend it to anyone. But it might one day be much better with a lot more work put into it.
