Review: ‘Hyperwheel Overdrive’ is a sort of crazy racing game like Mario Cart, or Diddy Kong Racing, only you drive about in sticks attached to two giant wheels (called a hyperwheel car). It features 20 tracks to enjoy and a vast range of play types from racing to stunts, deathmatch to capture the flag, it really does have a little bit of something for everyone here including online PvP racing. You can of course add decals and other things to your “car” that you unlock with time. While the games grapics are not exactly amazing, the pace of the game does make up for the lack of scenery.
No matter how much fun I had playing the game I also have to mention the super-high levels of nausea here. I have strong VR legs, but even I had a juicy mouth a few times. But if you can survive that I do easily recommend this game. Sure, it isn’t the best-looking VR racer, nor is it the most active online, but for a small price you can have a good amount of fun, provided you don’t barf up.
