Review: On paper ‘Critical Gravity’ might seem like a good idea for a racing game. Its vintage cars on an anti-gravity track, much like Radial-G, only…well…crapper. The high-nausea levels were always going to be an issue, but it is the slow pace of the racing and the terrible control that put me off recommending this. It’s like a sci-fi racing game with all the fun and excitement drained out of it. The thing is, I like the graphics and I like most of the ten tracks on offer, but if it doesn’t feel right to play everything else is lost on me. Until this game gets some sort of update or a massive price drop I simply can’t recommend it, but I really do think it has some real potential.
