Review: It might have a strange name, but ‘Paranormal Detective: Escape from the 80’s’ is little more than an 80’s themed escape room game. While the genre itself is old and tired this game does bring a new slant on it with loads of 80’s easter eggs and references for us oldies to enjoy. With only 3 locations there isn’t a whole lot of content in this game, but I am happy to report that what there is looks good and should hold most peoples attention for a good couple of hours. So you could argue that the game is a little over-priced, but getting it in a small sale will soon counteract that. Personally, I was happy to pay full price, but I know someone who is better at escape room games than me will fly through this.
