Description: Control George, the hapless inhabitant of a sleepy English countryside village, as he gets turned into an undead nightmare, by his own best friend in their final throws at life, before they die; as George goes about town, his diet changes from jam sandwiches and quavers, to human guts and brains.
You will control George and his ever growing undead horde, depending on how good you are, via a 3D tabletop view of his village. Walk around the landscape, get down low and look down into the streets, place down target flags to let George know where you want him to wreak havoc.
Review: Before you throw ‘ZomB’ into the bin as “yet another zombie game” you really need to take another look at it. Unlike all the other zombie games out there this one is an isometric view strategy game and you play the role of a zombie. You then need to hunt around a small village looking for human brains to eat until you have enough zombies to burst through the police blockade. The good news is you can tell a LOT of time and effort has gone into this and the little English Village (with train) looks great, as do the zombies that you can hear if you get close enough to them. But it is the lack of content that will put a lot of people off playing this as most people will be done and dusted with this within the hour. Well, it’s not often I say this given the price point for the low content, but I think this is well worth a look. Not only to support a new spin on the classic genre but because of the spit and polish that has gone into this game.
