Review: Please note that I have listed the price of the original game as it is needed, but the VR DLC is free (which is a bonus if you own the game anyway.) Getting on with the review its hard to know what to say about ‘ESSENCE’. On the one hand, it is full of beautiful environments all powered along by a soundtrack that is nothing short of an absolute masterpiece. The transition to VR isn’t terrible either and dare I say in VR some of the graphics look even better as you get a good scale of the sizes of things. But then again there is a real lack of content and overall gameplay as a whole as there really isn’t a whole lot to do. If you like the slower pace of life maybe you will enjoy this, but waiting for the best sale possible is highly advised.
