Description: One of the most famous retro games SNAKE has now returned with Gear VR! This time around the snake is not trapped within the small confines of the mobile screen, it can now freely move around 360°. Feed the snake a delicious apple and let it grow as long as possible. It’s up to you to move around freely, but beware not to twist its body and face a tragic death!
Review: Snake VR is one of those games that is best-played standing or sat in a very fast moving swivel chair. Much like the original game, the more you eat, the longer your snake gets! But as the snake gets longer, it gets harder and harder to avoid crashing into yourself. It is also a lot quicker than the original game, where a quick snap of the head in any direction will soon have the snake running for your pointer marker. It might not looks amazing, but this is not about how good it looks, this is all about having fun.
To be honest, it looks and sounds like one of those retro reimaginings that simply shouldn’t work, but yet it does! The fast pace of the gameplay and the score aspect make this a very challenging game that is best played being passed between friends and family. It sounds like a tall order, but we think this is more fun than the original game ever was.
