Review: For those who don’t know, The Way of Kings is an epic fantasy novel written by American author Brandon Sanderson. They have sold millions of copies and fans would have been looking forward to seeing some of the characters in the books come to life in this VR experience. Sadly the truth is The Way of Kings: Escape the Shattered Plains is much more a demo for a game, a testbed rather than a game in itself. Sadly asking £8.29 for this is simply crazy talk. Yes it looks good, yes it is action-packed, but paying that for 20 minutes of gameplay is utter madness. Unless this suddenly becomes free I would leave it well alone.
