Description: Protect the magic crystal, the source of your power! Utilize your lordship and your demon hands wisely, as you fend off the human invaders with your goblin hordes, fireballs and lots of traps! Your dungeon is no place for glory and treasure – only pain and suffering! “My Master, as Lord of Darkness it is your duty to teach those pesky invaders a lesson. Defend our dungeon crystal and protect the treasures of the underworld! Crush those heroes and adventurers with your infernal magic and summon the army of evil! There will be no escape for those overly motivated maggots!”
Review: Devil and the Fairy is a mix of game genres from Real-time strategy (RTS) to tower defence in which you need to stop waves of demons from getting to their goal by placing traps, putting down troops or even getting down and dirty yourself and squashing them with your fists. I liked that you change between options with the rings on your fingers which was a nice touch. There are also things to smash in the levels to earn money to spend on better towers and troops, which does give the game a 2nd layer of gameplay to keep to active.
I have to say, the game looks pretty good, but there are nowhere near enough levels to justify the full £7.19 asking price. But at the time of writing this review, the price is just £1.43 which left me quite satisfied with my purchase. So yeah, it’s worth getting but getting in a sale or as part of a cheap bundle.
