Review: The Door of Ice or “冰封之门” (which oddly translates as ‘Frozen Gate’) is an action shooter in which you get a small range of weapons to take down all the enemies in a level, before finding the key in that said level and then moving onto the next one. There are some good boss battles here and the game doesn’t look too bad at all and some of the bosses look amazing. But the gameplay is sadly as lame as it gets with most things glitching out, being broken or simply not working at all. It just feels to empty to play as the bad guys go down without a fight and the bosses are easy once they have finished their into animation. It’s not horrendous for £2.09, but don’t go into it expecting an epic action game. It’s ‘Meh’ from start to finish, if you can get past that issue this is worth a look.
