Description: In Battlemage Training you are an aspiring Battlemage. Practice swinging your war wand with speed and precision, with the help of your mentor. The goal of this game was to put some weight into VR melee fights, with an fun original concept. Your weapon is detached from your controller and requires timing and skill to achieve some destruction. In the current release there is a single game mode, focusing on timing and precision. This is a test of skill, with sets of targets that you hit with you weapon, in order to score points. But be careful. If you are not fast enough, then your targets will hit you back.
Review: Battlemage Training is an action game in which you are apparently training to become a Battlemage, but for now, your own target will be some gems. All you really do in the game is wave your controller about and collect then gems. There is no skill needed, no strategy and almost no gameplay. But the good news is that it does at least look good so the little ones might enjoy it more than us adults. It’s clear some effort has gone into making this so I do feel it is worth grabbing as part of a cheap bundle of games rather than paying full price.
