Description: Yanone immerses you in a quirky environment where the fast-paced action requires you to be on your guard at all times. Pop the balloons and watch as your world fills with colours to celebrate your success. It doesn’t get easy – as your skills improve over time, this game seeks to continuously push you out of your comfort zone and bring new challenges to the table the longer you survive. Can you make it to the end of the game?
Review: Yanone: Letter Splatter is an odd bow and arrow game in which you need to shoot the right letter to remove a spinning wheel of letters coming towards you. I do feel the developers missed a trick here as they could have done a word-hunting thing only with a bow and arrow, but that is not what this is. It’s like a wave-based shooter in which you need to hit the enemies sweet spot before you can kill them. You will need fast eyes and a good bow aim to play this game that is for sure. For £0.79 I do feel this is worth a look, if only for something different to play. It’s not amazing, but it is at least original and kooky.
