Description: Paddle Master VR is a cross between a breakout-style game and racquetball, inspired by a popular mobile game (Ballz). You play inside something like a racquetball court, but with numbered blocks that you must destroy. You have a gun that you use to shoot balls at the blocks, and a paddle to keep the balls in play when they bounce back to you. When your balls are all gone, your gun is automatically reloaded, and a new row of blocks appears, and any old blocks are moved closer to you. You lose when any blocks get pushed past the red line marking the front of the play area. Oh, and the balls have a tendency to explode… How long can you last?
Review: If you have ever wondered what a game of Ping-Pong crossed with Breakout would look like, just look no further than Paddle Master VR. You get a ping-pong ball gun and a ping-pong paddle and that is it. Shot the ball out the gun, whack it back when it comes towards you and try to fit the cubes in the play area. The thing is some of those cubes go up to 99 hits! This often leads to very long sessions in which you will lose interest at a rapid rate. Then there is the terrible choice of music that is relaxing one minute and crazy techno the next. If this game ever becomes free it might be worth a look, but it’s far too basic to be worth any sort of monetary payment.
