Description: A colourful fluid simulation to play with in VR. Chroma Lab is based around a high performance, a custom particle physics engine that utilises the vast computing power of modern GPUs to calculate billions of individual forces per second between the particles, necessary for them to interact with each other and behave like a fluid. There is a variety of tools to interact with the particles as well as a well-featured options menu that allows you to customise the visuals, physics and save/load scenes.
Review: Chroma Lab is a fluid particle simulation that gives you some tools to play with and basically tells you to get on with it. There is no game here as such, it’s just something to play with and I have to admit that I did find it oddly relaxing. But you soon realise that this is one experience in which you need to make your own fun and you will soon get bored of it. £3.99 might seem like a lot of money, but to someone, it might be worth that. But to us everyday folk it is about £3 more than I was willing to pay. Yes it is wonderful to mess around with, yes the visuals are as trippy as hell, but you make your own entertainment here and this is not for everyone.
