Description: Too lazy to go to the range? Is your gun in the repair shop? Never fear Range Day VR is here. If you like playing with realistic guns in an open VR sandbox, then this might be the game for you. Range Day VR is designed to give players a taste of what an actual gun range is like while letting players explore iconic realistic firearms without danger of shooting the family cat. Compete against other players in challenging timed events. Or simply enjoy blowing things up with your favourite .50 cal machine gun.
Review: Range Day VR is another one of those “gun range” simulators in which you will be shooting a variety of targets all of which are cardboard or static items. This games first problem is that there are many great games in the same genre out there, so it needs to stand out from the crowd which it does, but for all the wrong reasons. The game itself just feels so unfinished and glitchy that you almost instantly feel ripped off having paid £13.59 for it. I’m sorry, but there isn’t enough quality not content quantity to justify that price or indeed anywhere near it. If you like this style of game do give this a go, but I personally wouldn’t pay much more than a few quid for it knowing all too well that there are better games in the same genre to spend my money on.
