Review: Run Of Mydan is a game that easily draws you into its weird worlds. At its heart, it is little more than a free-movement shooter, but this game is so much more than that. Its also an action game with boss fights, adventure and some truly amazing graphics to look at as you zoom around. But it is also a mindless online shooter with up to 10 players in one arena battling it out. But sadly this is a game of two halves.
The first half is the single-player mode and while incredibly short (20-30 mins) it is one of those adventures you lose yourself in. It’s so good in fact, that half the time I was just stopped in the one place staring at the visuals. It felt like an epic adventure full of action and wonder. And the other half is the multiplayer mode which I have to be honest feels more like it was added on in the last second of the development of the game. It just doesn’t work and feels nowhere near as good as many other games similar to it. Also, that side of the game is effectively dead these days due to the lack of players. So that leaves you with a great single-player game that lasts for 30 minutes and costs £14.99! So my suggestion is to grab this game as cheaply as you can. Yes, it is definitely worth a look, but not at its current price.
