Description: VectorWave translates the traditional tower defence experience into virtual reality, allowing you the freedom to buy, place, toss, and move towers as you see fit between each wave with almost no need for menus. Each hand serves its own purpose in your efforts to build an impenetrable defence grid against increasingly difficult hordes of malware bent on destroying your mainframe.
Moving from a 2-D top-down perspective in traditional TD games to Virtual Reality allows us to expand on this genre like never before. Because split-second decisions and positioning matter, VectorWave’s simple, yet versatile, movement and scaling system allows you to either stand directly in the action or watch your carefully laid out plans from afar.
Review: VectorWave is a classic Tron looking tower defence game that doesn’t bring anything new to the genre, but it does at least bring some good gameplay and that is what counts. It has to be said the UI has also had a lot of thought gone into it which makes the game even easier and more intuitive to play. OK, so its as basic and tower defence games get in every way and while there is no way I would want to pay £3.99 for this I would consider paying a few quid for it, but then again I REALLY love my tower defence games.
