Description: “Wake Mi UP!” is a VR party game which could be played by four people in maximum. There’s a sleepy cat called ALaLa who has a magical power bringing everyone into her dream when she falls asleep. This time, it’s a HIDE AND SEEK dream in the playing room! Now, let’s protect ALaLa’s dream!
Review: On the whole ‘ALaLa: Wake Mi Up!’ is a pretty playable game and something the whole family will enjoy. You can play up to 3 players using the screen and 1 person in VR and the idea is for the gamepad players to mostly avoid the shots fired by the person in VR. It is a blast if you can get enough players going, but it is surprisingly shallow given its high £7.99 price tag. With 3 game modes, including “Kill Tapir”, “Wake ALaLa” and “Dream Bomb”, there is some fun to be had here, but it just feels so basic, so unfinished and nowhere near worth the asking price, but as far as party games go this one is worth a play, provided you can get in on the cheap.
