Description: “2017” is an excellent VR Co-op Survival game, in which players from all over the world gather together in teams to try and hold back the zombie hordes and prevent the outbreak from spreading any further. You won’t miss it!
The only way to survive is through good teamwork. Rescue your teammates when down to get them back into the fight, deal with any zombies outside their field of vision, mend broken windows and doors whilst they are busy shooting, etc. Explore the game map carefully to discover useful items or warning signs like, petrol canisters, working intercom systems, a laptop lying on a counter still with some charge or the warning cry outside of ravens startled by something moving.
Review: I know that our VR games library needs! It’s another zombie waves shooter! And just when no-one at all said that along comes ‘2017 VR’ to fill that non-existent gap. Yes, it is yet another survival shooter, but this is no Arizona Sunshine. This is more Plymouth Rain and Hail in terms of cheapness. It is the graphics that are the poorest part of this game and they look like PS 1 style, let alone VR on a high-end PC! With teleportation for locomotion and only a few guns, this game falls well short of being able to justify its £14.99 aksing price. Even a quarter of that price would be pushing things! But it is at least playable and for the right price (IE: A cheap price) you might enjoy it a lot more than I did having paid full-price for it.
