Review: When it comes to reviewing COMPOUND I feel you do have to take its age into account. At the time of its release, there weren’t many shooters with full-motion at all, so while it might seem basic these days at the time it was quite the game. These days, of course, we expect a lot more game and graphical quality for £14.99, but nevertheless it is still a petty good game. I thought the weapons were a little bit rubbish and I much prefered the starting pistol style gun to all the others. If you grab this for half-price or better in a sale you will probably enjoy it a lot more than I did when paying full-price. Its is definitely worth a look if you don’t mind the retro-style graphics.
