Review: Most people know and can recognize at least one of Vincent van Gogh’s works. This Dutch post-Impressionist painter made art that had such a far-reaching influence that he is now a VR app! The Night Cafe (the name of one of his paintings) is an immersive VR environment that allows you to explore the world of Vincent van Gogh first hand. Take a moment to enjoy his iconic sunflowers in 3 dimensions or walk around the chair he painted in his bedroom to see it from another angle. Step into the vivid colors straight from his palette of this impressionist world.

This tribute app has all the well-known paintings in it somewhere. It ends up being a sort of finding game, where you try and name as many as you can (we got to just 3). As a one-off experience, it is something very special indeed. To be able to jump into the paintings and maybe see the world through his own eyes might sound like an off app to create. But yet, somehow it works and you end up with one of the most beautiful art apps ever made.
