Review: On the surface Metal Assault is a pretty good game and it looks pretty damn good. Its a wave shooter pretty much like Time Crisis, only better visually of course. But it is the same game, moving from point to point and not being able to move anywhere else. Sadly this does mean the action is a little lame and really break the immersion. Having said that, if you like your wave shooters this is worth a look. Maybe not for £3.99, but anything half of that or less would give you value for money. But yes, it is yet another wave shooter, nothing new to see here.
