Description: The Walker was selected for the China Hero Project by Sony, representing the highest level of Chinese game development. It also received the 2017 Golden Plume award for Best VR Game. A VR action-shooter, the Walker offers a unique 360° all-directional monster-slaying experience for FPS and zombie fans. The story takes place in old Shanghai, where undead exorcists have traditional weapons at their disposal, as well as magical Chinese talismans.
Review: Before you write The Walker off as yet another wave shooter you might want to take daughter look at it. With some wonderful graphics and fast-action gameplay, this is a game that makes me love wave-shooters all over again. Sure, it’s not perfect and you will get bored of it well before you finish the game on the harder settings, but it is still worth looking out for in a sale. There are better wave-shooters on the PSVR, but The Walker is far from being a dud.
