VR News: OK, so it’s not just any old VR experience. Tree by Naked uses its own created experience that makes sounds smells and lights to complement each dish of the six-course meal. Using virtual reality to enhance the meal and make it a much stronger, more sensory experience. But don’t expect to walk in and get a table because there is only room for a maximum of eight couples, served each night, so good luck getting a reservation!

My Thoughts on this Story: Sure, it’s little more than a marketing gimmick, but yet I would still love to try it. If VR can make music more powerful and emotional, there is no reason it couldn’t do the same for real food! Even if I was living in Tokyo I get the feeling this restaurant might be a little out of my price range, with a VR experience or not.
