Review: Merry Snowballs is a snowball shooter that features a very festive theme. The idea is pretty simple, you need to take down several kids by throwing snowballs at them. Some kids are quick, some hide behind cars and some are super fast and a real challenge to hit. The good news is there are several powerups for you to win in a spin wheel at the start of each mission. This is where the micro-payments come into it, but at least the main game is indeed free. Merry Snowballs is not just a bit of festive fun, it’s also a pretty good game to play any time of the year. In fact, its so good you could showcase it to friends and family on Christmas day. Sure, it does get a little repetitive, but it’s also a real challenge. This game has been on all the other VR platforms, but it does have to be said they have put some real thought into the Daydream version making good use of the Daydream controller. If you want something to play and show-off this Christmas, this app is perfect.
