Description: Seventy years ago, some of the most powerful nuclear weapons ever created were detonated over the Bikini Atoll a remote chain of islands in the crystal blue waters of the tropical Pacific. The islands became off-limits to mankind, saturated in the radioactive fall-out. But in 2015, the state-of-the-art research and exploration vessel Alucia and her crew returned to discover the secrets below the waves. What remains of this paradise today?
Atomic Ghost Fleet is a 360 video documentary about an undisturbed historical world of 3 extraordinary shipwrecks. While there is enjoyment to be had watching this VR experience there is also an undeniable educational tone to it and really makes you think not only about the past, but also the future of not just the Bikini Atoll, but the world as a whole.
Sadly this is once again not the right sort of app for the PSVR system. The 360 video quality is also not the best which is disappointing. I suppose if you really like this sort of thing you might well find it interesting, but for most PS4 owners, this is best given a miss. Educational and interesting to a point I suppose, but nothing you can’t want in 360 on Youtube for free.
