Description: A Love Letter to the 90’s! ProtonPulse Plus is fast paced classic arcade action from a whole new perspective. Spanning over 50 levels, with an original soundtrack by Jake Kaufman and Danimal Cannon, ProtonPulse Plus will take you on a heart-pounding mission to save the universe.
Proton Pulse + starts off with fairly simple levels that ease you gently into the game, but it doesn’t take long for the action to really heat up with many different variables like moving objects changing up how you play. Some bricks become indestructible, others explode and some take multiple hits to be destroyed. The levels themselves take place in different shaped rooms making the bounces very unpredictable and of course the game more fun. If all that wasn’t enough there are boss battles which are without a doubt the most challenging levels in the game.
I don’t think Proton Pulse + gains anything from being in VR, but regardless it is still a lot of fun to play and the 50 levels are sure to keep you amused for awhile. Once again I find the price on the PSVR version to be a little too high for my own liking. But if you have the cash spare and like your games to have a classic style of gameplay, this will be right up your street.
