Description: Violent cyborgs. Homicidal robots. Human psychopaths. There can only be one. PERFECT AGGRESSOR! The leader of a global criminal cartel has gathered the best fighters in the world to compete in a private tournament. Ten combatants. No rules. No referees. Do you have what it takes to become … the Perfect Aggressor?
With some good button bashing moves (nothing too complicated to learn) and a few good characters to choose from and fight with like: Cyborkk, Bodyguard, Izzy, Blue Bot, Exoman, Biggo, Speedball and Shaman to name just a few. there is quite a good amount of variety with this game. It’s a shame there are no multiplay options, but the Arcade mode playthrough will keep you busy for a while at least.
At the end of the day, Perfect Aggressor is a better VR Beat ’em up than Tekken! OK, not so much a better game overall, but a much better use of VR. In my Tekken review, I said the game: “…could have been made better by a single person who understands VR in their bedroom.” and sure thing, along comes Trucker VR with this game and proves my point!
Please don’t get me wrong here. I am not saying this is a better game than Tekken or even that Perfect Aggressor is a great game (which it isn’t). I’m just saying because the makers of Perfect Aggressor understand VR better they are able to make a fun little game that is perfectly playable in VR. That is something Namco failed to do with Tekken. This game proves they could easily have done better than they did. Perfect Aggressor, itself is a little overpriced for me, but not a bad little indie Beat ’em up compared to other VR Beat ’em up games. If only there was a multiplayer mode it might have been worth the asking price.
